For drone pilots who shoot 10-bit D-Log M or D-Log
Log drone footage to a finished film look in one step
A planned pack of film-look LUTs (.cube) for footage shot in D-Log M or D-Log, for example on a DJI Mini 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro, Air 3, Air 3S, Avata 2 or Mavic 3. Every LUT is labelled for the exact profile it was built for, and every look comes with a before/after preview and a plain description. The pack is not made yet: this page is a test of whether pilots want it.
What the pack will hold
- Film-look LUTs in .cube format, with separate files for D-Log M and for D-Log, never one file for both
- A Rec.709 conversion LUT for each profile, for clips you want to grade by hand
- A short before/after preview clip and a one-line description for every look
- An install sheet for DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and CapCut, with the node or layer order to use
- Exposure notes for shooting log so the LUTs land where they should
- Planned price: a one-time payment, no subscription
$30
Planned one-time price. Nothing is charged on this page.
This only counts your click. No payment details are asked for, nothing is charged, and the pack is not made yet.
Where grading log drone footage goes wrong
- Flat, grey log clips need a grade on every delivery, and a fast real-estate or travel turnaround leaves little time for it.
- Some packs sold for D-Log M were built for D-Log, so the colours and contrast come out wrong on the other profile.
- Many packs ship numbered files with no preview and no description, so you only find out what a look does after you buy it.
- The free official conversion LUT gets the footage to Rec.709, but it is a neutral starting point, not a finished look.
Questions
Is the pack available?
Not yet. This page is a test: it checks whether drone pilots want the pack before it is made. The reserve button only counts your click. No payment details are asked for and nothing is charged.
Which drones and profiles will it support?
The plan is 10-bit D-Log M (for example DJI Mini 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro, Air 3, Air 3S and Avata 2) and D-Log (for example the Mavic 3 series). Each file names the profile it was built for. HLG and normal colour profiles are not covered.
Which editors will it work in?
.cube LUTs load in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro and CapCut. The install sheet will show the steps for each of them.
How is this different from the free official LUT?
The free conversion LUT turns log into a neutral Rec.709 image. This pack is about the looks that come after that step, each one shown in a preview before you decide.
What happens when I press reserve?
We count the click and show a page that says the pack is not available yet. This page collects no e-mail address, so it cannot tell you when the pack is ready.
Is this made by DJI?
No. Camera and drone names are used only to say which footage the LUTs are for. DJI is a trademark of its owner, and this pack is not made, endorsed or sold by DJI.
Who is behind this?
Zuvrelo is a planned product of Bardach Technologies LLC. Nothing is on sale yet.
